Overview A significant portion of our work involves managing the "keys" to the technical world. Whether you need a login for an engineering database or want to join a professional corporate organization, our team streamlines the credentialing process.
Common Access Requests
Engineering Databases: Access to industry-standard repositories (e.g., IHS Markit, IEEE, or ASTM).
Corporate Memberships: Joining a new professional body under AECOM’s corporate umbrella.
Renewals: Extending your access to a resource that has expired.
How to Request Access
Check for Self-Service: Some of our most common resources have "Single Sign-On" (SSO) enabled. Click the "Check SSO Availability" button below to see if you already have instant access.
Submit the Access Form: For restricted resources, use our Membership Form.
Note: If you are requesting a "Parent/Child" membership (adding a sub-user to a corporate account), please include your department head’s approval to speed up the process.
Wait for the Invite: Most access requests are processed within 24 hours. You will receive an automated email from the provider or a personal note from our team once you are added.
Frequently Asked Questions
"I can't log in to a resource I previously used." Check if your password has expired or if the subscription was tied to a specific project code that has closed.
"Can I share my login?" No. Most of our licenses are "per user." Sharing credentials can lead to copyright notices and service suspension for the entire firm.
Librarian’s Note: We manage hundreds of licenses globally. If you're hit with a "Paywall" while researching, don't pull out your credit card! Check with us first—we likely already have a subscription you can use.
